Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Alumni Association We aim to identify potential candidates for NELP and create scholarship opportunities for future NELP classes.

The Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Alumni Association is organzation of diverse professionals commited to community service, professional development, and enhancing the leadership capacity of the greater Sacramento region. Members of the Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Alumni Association (NELAA) are graduates of the Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Program (NELP), one of the Sacramento region's most rigorous leader

ship development programs. NELAA Members are committed to the following values:

🤩Our is very excited to have Rhonda Staley-Brooks, former President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Sacramento Area and is now the Executive Director of the Nehemiah Emerging Leaders (NELP) as one of our for our Lean In to PEAK event! She was one of the Mentors during the Sacramento Lean In Chapter’s InspireMidtown, Minute Mentoring Event this past October. So if you missed it, make sure you join us for this Speed Mentoring Event that is open to the public on Wednesday February 27, 2019 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel In Sacramento, CA from 5:30pm-7:00pm with reception and cocktails immediately following.

Fellows from all classes experienced a unique leadership session this week with several high ranking and influencial legislators and legislative staff at the California State Capitol to discuss leadership and policy making.

Thank you to our NELP team members, friends, and families. We had another successful year at the Run to Feed the Hungry, contributing over $1,500 to the Sacramento Food Bank. Our team ranked 10th in this fundraising effort. NELP team rocks! Thank you for your continued support of this great event.
