Washington Lodge No. 20 had a wonderful time at our Annual Family Picnic yesterday at Richard Marriott Park! A big thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy great fellowship, delicious food, and a beautiful day together. The burgers, hot dogs, ribs, and salads, as well as our special lodge cake were all a hit! Between games of Jenga, co****le, Frisbee, and even a little game of catch, there was plenty of fun for brothers, family, and friends.

A special thank you to Worshipful Dave Cameron for taking charge of the grill and keeping everyone well fed. Your hard work and great cooking helped make the picnic a tremendous success. We appreciate everyone who helped make the day memorable, and we’re already looking forward to next year!

On the evening of May 21, 2026, Washington Lodge #20 had the great honor and privilege of raising Brother Anthony Ibarra to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason.

This degree was made even more special as it was held during our annual Past Masters Night, with much of the work being performed by the Past Masters of our lodge. It was a powerful reminder that the wisdom, traditions, and teachings of our Craft are passed from one generation of Masons to the next through dedication, fellowship, and labor.

We are deeply proud of Brother Anthony as he continues his Masonic journey, and we thank all of the Past Masters and brethren who helped make the evening such a memorable success.

Congratulations, Brother Ibarra. May the light of Freemasonry continue to guide your path as you travel onward in your pursuit of further light.

Last evening, the brethren of Washington Lodge #20, along with two visiting brethren from Union-Tehama Lodge #3, had the distinct pleasure of passing Brother Ivan Flowers to the degree of Fellowcraft.

This important step marks his continued journey in knowledge, growth, and self-improvement. We congratulate Brother Flowers and look forward to supporting him as he continues toward further light.

Another Washington Lodge #20 "Bowling with Brothers" night is in the books! The 2026 occasion was the largest yet with 16 brothers, family, and prospects in attendance. Thank you to our SD, Ramey Packer, for arranging the event.

Check out those new lodge bowling shirts provided by our WM, Bill Workman! Speaking of Bill, he is supposedly the big winner of the night with a high score of 144, although we have also received unconfirmed reports of him heckling the other bowlers during their back-swings and incessantly quoting "The Big Lebowski." Whatever it takes to win, I guess! 😁🎳

We had another fantastic meal and wonderful fellowship at this month's stated meeting. The Crown and Cross culinary crew knocked it out of the park with roasted beef, baked potatoes, asparagus, and all the fixings. Brotherhood abounded as we had many brothers attend whom we had not seen for quite a while, as well as several new prospects with whom to become acquainted. The meal was capped off with our annual Roll Call to recognize our Past Masters, as well as those that have passed on to the Celestial Lodge this year. Looking forward to seeing you all at our Second Degree ceremony on the 26th!
