Grief has a way of changing everything.
It changes the way we celebrate, the way we make plans, and sometimes even the way we see ourselves.
One of the biggest misconceptions about grief is that it has an expiration date. The truth is, grief doesn’t ask permission before showing up. It can hit in the middle of a grocery store, during a favorite song, or even in the middle of a day that was going perfectly fine.
If that’s where you find yourself today, we want you to know this:
You are not grieving “wrong.”
There is no timeline. No perfect way to heal. No checklist that tells you when you’re “better.”
At Giving Grace, we believe healing isn’t about forgetting the people we love—it’s about learning how to carry both love and loss at the same time.
So today, we’d love to hear from you.
❤️ What is one thing someone did or said during your grief that made you feel seen and supported?
Your words may be exactly what someone else needs to read today.
