COMING SOON…..LAND PARK SOFTBALL 2017! Dear Land Park Softball families,

I’m writing to provide an update on plans for girls’ softball in Land Park for the 2017 season. First, we’re very grateful to District 7 and our friends at East Sacramento Little League for welcoming our girls this past season. At the same time, we have been building momentum toward forming our own league for Land Park for

2017. Over the past several months, we have formed a Board of Directors and submitted our charter application to Little League International. We are making progress in areas such as fundraising, recruitment, field permits, website design and countless other tasks. However, we can't do this alone. If you support having a neighborhood softball program for your daughter today and other daughters tomorrow please consider these ways to help:

- Donate. We need seed money. Already our Board members and many of our neighbors have stepped up to raise $750. You can give through our GoFundMe campaign. If you know of a local business interested in sponsorship, please let me know.

- Volunteer. Even an hour of your time can go a long way. Many hands make light work. Prep fields, organize volunteers, help distribute flyers, distribute lawn signs, manage a website, coach, umpire, etc. Please contact me and we can discuss how we can apply your enthusiasm.

- Recruit. If your daughter enjoyed the 2016 season or if you know a family that should know about us, please spread the word. Forward this email and like us on Facebook.

- Register. Registration will open soon for players born 2004-2012 calendar years. Please look for additional emails on dates and forms. Many thanks for your support.
