We had so much fun at the Walk a Mile “Shoe-Over” this weekend! Thank you to our sponsors whose flexibility helped make this event possible after May rain pushed our walk back a few months. And a huge thank you to our sponsors, walkers and their supporters who raised $160,000 for survivors of domestic violence, s*xual assault and s*x trafficking! WEAVE, Inc. could not do this critical work without your support.

T-minus 3 hours until the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes "Shoe-Over"! Our incredible team of volunteers and community partners are busy helping us finish set up at our Midtown parking lot and along the walk route so that you can have the best Sunday Funday! Come join us at any time today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. When you arrive, please check in, grab your shoes and SWAG if you haven't done so yet, and start walking when your feet are ready!

A few reminders: Bring your ID for adult beverages, wear sunscreen, and consider using a ride share or public transporatino if drinking or to avoid parking congestion. We will also start handing out awards to teams and individuals at 1 p.m.

We're so excited that the weather forecast is looking free of rain so we can finally Walk a Mile in Her Shoes and celebrate the walkers, donors and sponsors of ! Here's just a few reminders before Sunday:

- Bring your ID if you plan on having an adult beverage!
- Sunday street parking is free, but please consider using a ride share or public transportation if you're drinking.
- While there's no official walk start time, we will be handing out awards to teams and individuals at 1 p.m. in the WEAVE parking lot. See you on Sunday!
