With multiple community programs across six locations, the Sacramento Children's Home makes a difference in the lives of approximately 7,000 children and 4,600 families each year. OUR PROGRAMS
Our COUNSELING CENTER offers innovative counseling techniques to help children heal from trauma and improve the parent-child relationship. Our two CRISIS NURSERIES provide free child care, overnight care, a
nd case management services for families with children age 0-5 during a crisis. Our EDUCATION PROGRAM offers a variety of after-school and enrichment activities to make learning fun and help SCH residents get the most from their education. Our eVIBE (Early Violence Intervention Begins with Education) program helps students and their families avoid violence and develop safe relationships at school and at home. Our three FAMILY RESOURCE CENTERS build strong families through parent education, crisis intervention, connection to resources, and social support. Our RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT PROGRAM provides intensive mental health care in a group home setting for abused, neglected, or emotionally disturbed males age 6-21. Our WRAPAROUND PROGRAM provides individualized support to families to ensure that youth in residential care return to a safe, stable community home.
