Free from the impossible burden of trying to make yourself whole.

The cross is enough. Stand firm, and don’t return to the yoke Christ released you from.

What truths are worth standing firm for?

In “Gospel Clarity,” from Acts 15:1–35, we see the early church confront a question at the very heart of Christianity: What is required for a person to be saved?

The answer remains clear—salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. We cannot earn God’s acceptance or add anything to the finished work of Jesus.

What burden are you carrying that Christ never placed upon you? May this message lead you into the freedom, peace, and joy found in knowing Him.

This is what church family looks like. 💙

Voices joined in worship. Hearts lifted in prayer. Smiles, handshakes, hugs, and conversations shared across generations—all gathered around the grace of Jesus Christ.

Through Acts 15 and “Gospel Clarity,” we were reminded that our place in God’s family is not something we earn. We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

Because Jesus has welcomed us freely, we can welcome one another warmly. Because He carries our burdens, we can help carry one another’s. And because the gospel unites us, we can grow together as one family in Christ.

Grace alone. Through faith alone. In Christ alone. ✝️

This Sunday, we gathered as a church family to worship, pray, encourage one another, and hear God’s Word from Acts 15:1–35.
In “Gospel Clarity,” we were reminded that the true gospel is worth standing firm for: salvation is not something we earn by carrying more rules or religious burdens. It is the free gift of God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

Why can two people hear the same truth—and respond completely differently?

Sometimes the issue isn’t simply what the mind understands.

It’s what the heart finds more beautiful than Jesus.

Until that changes, even the strongest argument may not be enough.

In Acts 14:1–28, we see that proclaiming the gospel can bring both belief and opposition. Yet through hardship, rejection, and resistance, Jesus remains faithful to establish His church.

Worship draws our hearts to Jesus. Fellowship strengthens us in Him. And together, we are sent out to make Him known.

This Sunday, as we worshiped, prayed, opened God’s Word, and shared fellowship with one another, Pastor Dave led us through Acts 14:1–28. Paul’s witness reminds us that sharing the Gospel doesn’t always look the same. He met people where they were, understood the people he was speaking to, and adapted his approach—but he never changed the message.

The same Jesus we worship together on Sunday is the Jesus we are called to proclaim throughout the week.

Sunday reminds us that the church is more than a place we gather—it is a people called to pray together, encourage one another, and faithfully witness to Jesus wherever He sends us.

In Acts 14:1–28, Pastor Dave shared “The Paradox of Proclamation,” looking at Paul’s example of meeting people where they are without changing the truth of the Gospel. Paul’s approach may change, but the message does not: Jesus Christ is Lord, and salvation is found in Him.

As we worship, open God’s Word, pray, and share life together, may we also ask: How can we faithfully bring the unchanging Gospel to the people God has placed around us?
