A question was asked on the website, "Who do I contact to protect my license plate?" I believe the issue is "confidentiality". Research tells me that the individual needs to complete a DMV INV 32 form and submit to the department. The form is not available online so I believe it has to be obtained at SSO and they submit to DMV. The question remains WHO to contact??? Any response here appreciated.

FYI: this protects both license plate(s) and drivers license(s)...
