Cal North's soccer family, with its approximately 250,000 registered players and team officials, tens of thousands of volunteers, and hundreds of thousands of supporting parents and family members, is ready for another highly successful and productive year of serving all children by providing experiences that will enable each child to grow, learn, mature, and succeed as adults by becoming producti

ve members of society. For Cal North, every child is an individual of importance, to be nurtured, encouraged, and supported, and to that end Cal North offers something for every child. Cal North has programs for the recreational to the most advanced player and everything in between; programs for the disadvantaged, programs leading to state-wide competitions for all levels of play in the form of the Founders' Cup, the Association Cup, the State Cup, the Premier League, TOPSoccer and Olympic Development Program. Cal North continues its unbroken history of incredible success as its number of participants continues to grow and as its programs expand and are constantly being improved. Cal North as always continues to thrive because of the thousands of extraordinary people who selflessly volunteer their time, resources, and unbelievable skills to serve children. The Board of Directors, Districts, League and our super State Office can only express our deep and continuing gratitude to the literally tens of thousands of you who through your dedication and the giving of yourself for the benefit of children make it all possible. Your positive contributions make a profound difference in the lives of hundreds of thousands of kids, a positive contribution that will last far beyond this and many other seasonal years to come.

We are heartbroken by the loss of Lenin Homer Silva, a talented young goalkeeper and valued member of the Cal North Olympic Development Program (ODP) family ❤️

Known for his dedication, determination, and love for the game, Lenin represented the very best of youth soccer both on and off the field. As a goalkeeper, he demonstrated courage, leadership, and resilience, always putting their team first and inspiring those around them with their work ethic and positive attitude.

Beyond his accomplishments on the field, he will be remembered as a kind friend, supportive teammate, and cherished member of the soccer community.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Lenin's family, friends, teammates, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing them. Lenin's memory will forever remain a part of the Cal North ODP family.
