Today February 29th is rare disease day, and I have some beyond exciting news to share. Many of you know that 3 of my boys have an eye disease that causes them to be Legally Blind. Recently, my husband John started a company to head up a project that would take a gene therapy through the FDA. This Gene Therapy could be the very thing that restores sight for my boys and many other boys and men across the world. John has thrown his whole heart and focus into this monumental quest. This is absolutely revolutionary and would be completely life-changing if successful.

This includes the rights to two innovative intravitreal gene therapies with the potential to revolutionize the treatment landscape for Blue Cone Monochromacy and Achromatopsia.
