Still reflecting on what a great evening we had at this month’s NKBA California Capital Chapter meeting!

Beyond the educational presentation and beautiful showroom, one of the best parts of these events is the community we continue to build together. From sharing industry knowledge and resources to supporting one another through the challenges and successes of business and design, this chapter is filled with incredibly talented and welcoming professionals.

Grateful for the conversations, connections, and friendships that make this industry so rewarding. Looking forward to the next one already! And another thank you to Cortopassi Tile & Stone for hosting such a wonderful evening and opening their showroom to our chapter.

A huge thank you to Cortopassi Tile & Stone for hosting last night’s NKBA California Capital Chapter meeting! We had a fantastic turnout, great conversations with fellow industry professionals, and an educational presentation on maximizing tile solutions with trim profiles.

One of the best parts of NKBA meetings like this is getting up close with materials.

From intricate mosaics to full slabs, seeing these in person (not just online) completely changes how you design with them- scale, tone, texture… it all hits differently.

Last night at Natural Stone Design Gallery was a great reminder of how valuable these gatherings are- not just for connection, but for continuing education and deeper product knowledge. Better understanding of materials = better design for our clients.

Last night was such a great reminder of why this community matters.

Designers, trades, vendors - all in one room sharing ideas, learning, and connecting. This is exactly what makes NKBA such a valuable part of our industry here in Sacramento.

A big thank you to our host, Natural Stone Design Gallery, for opening their space and creating such a welcoming environment for all of us.

If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved- do it! These rooms are where relationships (and really good projects) start.
