Today our Sheriff’s Explorers, North Patrol, and SED (SWAT team) joined the grand reopening of the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Madison Avenue.

As part of the celebration, the Sheriff’s Office and Sacramento County Sheriff’s Foundation were honored with a generous check to support programs that serve our community. Chief Kacalek and the Undersheriff were proud to accept the donation on behalf of our Office.

We’re grateful for Walmart’s partnership and commitment to helping us continue programs that make a difference here in Sacramento County.

Calling All Rodeo Queens!
The Sacramento County Sheriff's Rodeo is proud to announce the crowning of our very first Rodeo Queens — and you could be one of them!

We’re looking for three outstanding young women to represent our rodeo:
👑 Queen (ages 18–22)
👑 Junior Miss (ages 14–17)
👑 Young Miss (ages 10–13)

Do you have the poise, confidence, and horsemanship skills to wear the crown? Join us for our contestant orientation to learn more:

Contestants will be judged in the areas of Horsemanship, Interview, and Public Speaking.
