Peace Family, it has been a pleasure serving the Meadowview and surrounding communities this summer. The summer of 2018 will go down in ourstory as a time of healing and space created conducive for embracing love. There is so much to say and so many people to thank, I am not even sure that it can be quantified in one post. First and foremost, a big thank you to our Orchestrator Berry Accius, Founder of VOY and his team (Kayla Green, Passion Bailey, Deana Omije, Destiny Hayes, Jermaine Morrison, Gino Rogers and Dana Maeshia, the mighty youth squad whom I will mention under a separate post as well as the City of Sacramento. Much gratitude to all of the vendors including but not limited to: Shonna McDaniels of the Sojourner Truth Museum, Daphnee Burgress with the Crocker Art Museum, Stephanie Bogen with Meadow View Birth and Beyond, The Wake Up Foundation, Black Girl Magic, EDD, YEOP , Aranada Hawkins, BYOP, Fortune School, NIA, Fortune School, Plush Royalty Massage, Sister Serving Sac, Nubian Family Beauty Supply, Ebony Nail Salon, Suggested Eyewear and a host of other wonderful businesses and organizations. All of our DJs, including Timothy "One Gone" Pool. Our food vendors including Oz Kamari with Daddy Os Barbecue, Nasir Muhammad with Beana's Cafe' and Josh with Fraco Lemonade.
