The cardinal criticized the argument, advanced by Synod fathers such as Archbishop Cupich, that the Church should give Communion to people in sinful situations if they believe they are sinning 'in good conscience.'

Out chapter mourns the loss of our past prioress this week: Please join out chapter in the Vigil/Dominican Rosary for Mrs. Phyllis Sale, OP, 9/11 from 5-8pm and her Funeral Mass on 9/12 at noon. Both at Holy Family Parish, Citrus Heights. All are welcome. Please pray for the repose of her soul and for the consolation of her family, friends, and this chapter. Phyllis was a joyful soldier for our Lord, and we will miss her every day.
