During our visits to Sutter Children's Center in Sacramento, we have met numerous families whose children have been in the NICU for months. Sutter Children's Center in Sacramento is a comprehensive pediatric medical center which serves as the regional referral center for neonatal care for more than 27 counties and 50 hospitals. This means babies and families in the Sutter NICU are not only from th
e Sacramento area, but may cities throughout Northern California, Southern Oregon, and even Northern Nevada. While some of these families live over an hour from the hospital, they still find a way to be by their baby's bedside. With unstable and exorbitant gas prices, food costs, and time away from work, there is a great need to support these families supporting their little ones. Our foundation provides care packages including gas cards, housing vouchers, food vouchers, and other necessary items such as strollers and car seats.
