We were honored to visit City Hall today to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center. We brought some of our seniors, and were joined by staff, board members, and volunteers. Hundreds of youth have had their first-ever work experiences at Stanford Settlement as Counselors-in-Training (CITs). Working in After School Groups and Summer Day Camp, they develop strong work habits and leadership skills and receive a stipend for their efforts. Recognize anyone?
