Wellspring Women's Center in the Oak Park community nurtures the innate goodness and personal self esteem of women and their children. Our drop-in center provides respite and services based on "hospitality with dignity and love."

A massive thank you to our Board Chair, Christy Grellas, and Boutin Jones Inc. for putting together toiletry care kits for our guests! Your dedication to our community is a beautiful display of compassion. Beyond providing everyday essentials, these kits remind our guests that they are never alone and that a whole community is rooting for them!

Today at Wellspring, we celebrated St. Francis, the patron saint of animals and the environment, by honoring the beauty and joy that all creatures bring to our world! 🐾💚
To celebrate, we shared a very special stuffed animal giveaway with our guests, spreading a little extra love, comfort, and companionship throughout our community. Because there’s always room for a little more kindness, whether it has two legs, four legs, wings, or a wonderfully soft and cuddly exterior! 🧸✨
We’re grateful for every opportunity to celebrate the many forms of life and love that make our world so special.

A big thank you to Order of Malta Western Association for joining us for a volunteer day this week! ✨ They jumped right in to help our center serve meals and brought so much warmth and love to our community.
At Wellspring, our mission is deeply rooted in offering care and hospitality to everyone who walks through our doors. Volunteers like the Order of Malta make that process filled with so much joy and love. We are so incredibly grateful for your support! ❤️🙌

💛 Help us welcome our new team member, Sophie Trombetta, to the Wellspring Team!
Sophie joins us through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps as our Children’s Corner & Community Engagement Associate, and she is already creating magical moments with our kiddos! Throughout her year at Wellspring, Sophie will help keep the fun, creativity, and connection going in the Children’s Corner while supporting our broader community.
Sophie hopes to bring joy, creativity, and a deep sense of care to the Children’s Corner, creating a space where children feel safe, welcomed, and free to simply be themselves. She is looking forward to building meaningful connections with our community and supporting the well-being of the children and families we serve.
We are so grateful to have Sophie with us and can’t wait to see all the love and joy she brings to Wellspring this year! 🌼

Today, we had the joy of celebrating Mexican Independence Day together!
There was no shortage of singing, dancing, laughter, and merriment as our guests enjoyed delicious tamales, enchiladas, and, most importantly, time together in community.
We are always grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the rich cultures and traditions of our Wellspring community. Days like today remind us of the love, joy, and belonging that make our community possible. ❤️Happy !
