Sac40 has two new Fellowcraft Masons! Please join us in congratulating brothers Brett and Rex. They gave an amazing proficiency return and were finally passed. These are the last degrees of the year and we are so proud of their dedication and effort getting to this point. They are already progressing and will be Masters soon next year! Congratulations again!

Sac40 has been very busy as we near the end of the year! We are so happy to introduce our newest Brother Entered Apprentice Mason into the Craft. Please welcome Peter to the fraternity. Peter has been hanging out with us for a long time and we are happy to finally invest him with the badge of a Mason!

Last month, Sacramento Lodge No. 40 had the honor of raising Brother Michael Camacho to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. Though originally from Long Beach Lodge, Michael joined us as an Entered Apprentice and has since become an instrumental part of our family here in Sacramento. His friendship, dedication, and brotherhood have left a lasting mark on all of us.

It was a truly beautiful Saturday morning—the light pouring into the lodge as brothers from across the region gathered to support and assist in the work. We were especially honored to have MW John Cooper, Past Grand Master, and Ricky Lawler, Past Grand Lecturer, in attendance, adding to the significance of the day.

With the assistance of brethren from General Douglas MacArthur Lodge and many helping hands from surrounding lodges, the degree was carried out with precision, beauty, and true fellowship.

Moments like these remind us of the strength and unity of our fraternity—brothers coming together to confer our highest degree, ensuring its lessons are preserved and passed on with care.

Congratulations, Brother Camacho—welcome to the fraternity of Master Masons! 🔨✨

🍹⛳🎱 End of Summer Social Recap!

Brothers from across multiple lodges came together at Tipsy Putt in Downtown Sacramento for an unforgettable evening of happy hour, pool, and a mini golf showdown! The camaraderie was strong, the competition was fierce, and the laughs were endless.

At the end of the night, only one could claim the trophy — congratulations to Brother Enkido, our mini golf champion! 🏆👏

A special thanks goes out to Brother Nate for putting this great event together. Brotherhood, fellowship, and a little friendly competition — a perfect way to wrap up the summer! 🌇🍻

Sacramento Lodge No. 40 invites you to our Summer Social and Mini Golf Tournament!

Kick back, relax, and join us for an evening of fellowship, fun, and friendly competition.

🕕 6:00 PM – Trophy Club @ DOCO

Start the night with a round of drinks and good company at the Trophy Club for some light socializing and refreshments.

⛳ 7:00 PM – Tipsy Putt

Then we’ll head down to Tipsy Putt for a mini golf tournament. Compete for glory—and a prize worthy of a true mini golf champion!

This event is open to Masons, friends, and family—the more the merrier!

RSVP is required.

Sac40 Initiated another brother into the fraternity last week! Please welcome Brother Andrey to the Craft! Andrey has been with us for several months and has been extremely helpful at many of our events including DJing for us at our last summer bash. We are happy to now have him as a member.

Join us this evening as we dive into one of the most powerful tools in a Mason’s arsenal: Logic.

We’ll explore:

The 7 Liberal Arts and Sciences
The Trivium: Grammar, Logic, Rhetoric
How to identify common logical fallacies
Real-world applications through interactive breakout sessions
And a few fun debates to sharpen the mind and enjoy some good-natured reasoning!

In the flickering candlelight of the Green Dragon Tavern, brave Freemasons once gathered in secret — bound not only by fraternity, but by a shared vision of liberty. They risked everything to resist tyranny and spark a revolution that would give rise to a free and sovereign people.
