❤️ The First Love — A 40-Day Journey to Fall in Love with Each Other Again — Day 18. Every woman needs her hero. Every man needs his princess

If a man is a hero, his woman becomes a princess. Not because she is demanding or expects a castle with towers. But because it is for her that the hero is willing to get off the couch and do something.

A princess doesn’t always wear a crown. Sometimes she’s in a simple house robe with no hairstyle at all. But even then, she remains a princess to her hero.

✔️For this princess, the hero endures inconvenience. He wakes up earlier than planned and finally fixes what she asked about a year ago. Because a hero without a princess is just a man with tools.

✔️A woman becomes a princess not when a man says beautiful words, but when he does something for her.

Every woman needs her hero. He doesn’t have to shine in knight’s armor. It’s enough if he takes out the trash and remembers which shelf holds the plates and which one holds the pots.

At times, a hero may look tired, confused, or overly confident that “he’ll fix it in no time.”

Even when a woman sees that her hero is exhausted, she still believes in him. She believes he’ll rest and make it work. To her, he is always a hero — even if he’s standing in the middle of the room with a tool in his hand, realizing the job is harder than he thought.

Every man needs a woman who believes in him. Especially when the shelf is hanging crooked and it’s too late to redo it. Sometimes a man doesn’t need advice or help.

He needs someone to look at him as if he’s a hero — even when the results are still questionable.

🙏 Amazingly, that kind of faith works. A man doesn’t give up. He tries again with new strength, because deep inside him lives a hero. And he longs for the woman who believes in him just a little more than he believes in himself.

Inside every woman lives a princess. And she longs for a man who treats her like one — even on days that feel far from magical.

Ecclesiastes 4:9–10

9 Two are better than one, because together they can accomplish more.

10 If one falls, the other can help him up. But if there is no one there to help, he will be left alone and in trouble.

This project is called Jesus’ Friends and is based in Visakhapatnam, a city in southern India. Here is how we began our work. Initially, we focused on women and children who faced injustice, and later we expanded to serve people living with HIV/AIDS.

We are often asked how these individuals became infected. Not all of them led immoral lives, as the virus can be transmitted through contact with infected bodily fluids such as blood or breast milk. For example, if a husband leads an immoral lifestyle, he can infect his wife, who might then pass the virus to their child during pregnancy or childbirth.

Families of HIV-positive individuals often face many unexpected expenses. If HIV is left untreated, a person’s immune system becomes so weakened that their body cannot fight infections. In the later stages of the disease, conditions such as cancer, lung diseases, or nervous system disorders may develop.

Patients may fall into depression and lose the meaning of life. They may feel isolated and experience fear of death. Even those who contracted the virus through no fault of their own can feel guilt and shame.

In Your presence the sick become healed, sinners become holy, and the blind start seeing. Your presence brings hope to the hopeless, and freedom to the oppressed. The mountains melt like wax before Your presence. (Psalm 97: 5)

When you walked the earth there was no one who came to you and wasn’t touched by the Glory of Your presence. Your presence fulfills every need and brings an abundance of joy, peace, and happiness – everything a human needs.

Nothing can stop the Glory of Your presence. The only hindrance is unbelief, which doesn’t allow the Glory of Your presence to complete its transformational work. When You came to Your own town, You “could not do any miracles there” (Mark 6: 5), because of their unbelief.

They didn’t believe that God is good. They didn’t believe that healing is possible. They didn’t believe that Jesus is the Son of God. They didn’t believe that Jesus is the final, full, and complete revelation of who God really is.

People say that God makes people sick. How many people did Jesus make sick? None. If Jesus didn’t do it, that means God doesn’t do it. Jesus said, “I and the Father are one”. (John 10: 30) Religious leaders of that time got furious because of this statement and wanted to stone Jesus.

Religion wants to kill a sinner, Jesus wants to save. His presence heals everyone who comes to Him with faith. “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him”. (Hebrews 11: 6)

❤️ The First Love — A 40-Day Journey to Fall in Love with Each Other Again — Day 17. A man may know a lot. A wise wife knows what matters most

A husband understands many things. He can fix appliances and assemble furniture. He knows his way around computers and phones. But a wise wife understands everything else — which means she understands life.

A man can explain how a car works down to the smallest bolt. A wise wife can explain how he works.

A husband knows how to work hard, manage his time, and tell others what they’re doing wrong. A wise wife knows what her husband needs — sometimes before he even realizes it himself.

A man can fix almost anything. He can repair a leak — and accidentally crack the sink in the process. A wise wife knows when not to ask, “What just happened?”

A husband can explain why something must be done right now. A wise wife can explain why right now may not be the best moment.

A man can read even an instruction manual written in Chinese. A wise wife can read his face the moment he realizes something has gone wrong.

✔️A husband understands details. A wise wife understands people.

✔️A man knows the answers. A wise wife knows the questions he hasn’t yet asked himself.

A husband knows how everything is supposed to work. A wise wife knows when to pretend that everything is already working just fine.

A man makes plans. A wise wife builds life around them. A husband reads instructions. A wise wife reads between the lines.

A man explains. A wise wife understands.

A husband may know a lot about the world. But his wise wife knows everything about him.

A man knows many things. A wise wife knows what truly matters — what her husband needs.

She reads his eyes better than he reads any manual. While he is still learning, she already understands. While he is still analyzing, she sees the core. While he is still thinking, she often knows how it will end. While he is searching for the mistake, she has already spotted it.

🙏 Don’t think your woman came into your life to complicate it. On the contrary, God gave her to you so you could discover what wisdom really is.

Proverbs 14:1

A wise woman takes care of her family and sets up her home. But a foolish woman does not care about her household and brings ruin to her family.

Your thoughts have power. Your words have tremendous power. Be careful what you think about and what you speak. “The tongue has the power of life and death”. (Proverbs 18: 21)

Your words direct the course of your life. Tomorrow you will have what you are talking about today. God created the Universe by His Word. The word has creative power in it. You decide if you are going to use your tongue to build up or to destroy.

You can’t say right words if you don’t have right thoughts. Thoughts are your inner conversation with yourself. Actually, thoughts are words you speak to yourself that haven’t yet been made audible. Right thoughts energize you with a positive influence, they give birth to the right words, and right words bring right results.

You can’t change your life, without first changing the way you think. Don’t wish bad things on anyone. Quit thinking about situations from your past that are impossible to change. Stop imagining conversations with the people who wronged you. Free your mind from the toxic thoughts of unforgiveness, jealousy, and anger. Stop poisoning yourself with your own thinking.

You need to make an effort and start thinking about what is true, honorable and right (Philippians 4: 8). Read the Gospels and meditate on the Word of God. Then you will realize, that God is good and He is in control of your life. He will make things right, and you don’t have to be upset, worried, angry and lost. Make a decision to start trusting God and His wonderful promises for you and your loved ones.

When you will continuously remain in God’s Word, your thoughts will become the thoughts of faith. Thoughts of faith will give birth to the words of faith. And the words of faith will move any mountain in your life, just as Jesus said, “If anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them”. (Mark 11: 23)

❤️ The First Love — A 40-Day Journey to Fall in Love with Each Other Again — Day 16. Your wife is the best gift God has given you

He who finds a wife finds happiness. But a wife is like a user manual… in ten volumes. It has everything — notes, footnotes, warnings in fine print.

But who actually reads the manual? So the husband acts by trial and error and then wonders why something isn’t working again.

✔️How do you “read” your woman to avoid breakdowns and sharp corners? You can’t do it in one evening. A wife is read over a lifetime.

✔️And don’t rush to finish the book. Go back and reread. Maybe you missed something. Maybe you didn’t realize how important it was.

To avoid damage in your relationship, read not only her words, but also the pauses between them. Notice the difference between what she says and how she says it.

Pay attention to the tone of her voice. Notice her eyes. Don’t worry — over time, you’ll learn to recognize the signals she gives you without words. They often say more than any sentence.

That’s the fine print you will spend your whole life learning to read.

You did not meet your woman by accident. A wife is a gift God prepared for you long before you met and realized she was the one.

She is not just part of your life. She is your universe — and she will never stop surprising you. You may think you know her well. But you will keep discovering something new, because she changes — just as you do.

Sometimes she will seem close and easy to understand. Other times she may feel complex and mysterious. There is no contradiction in that. A living person does not fit into a formula. She grows and changes all her life.

🙏 God entrusted this woman to you — and He did not make a mistake. He knows she is the best for you. Together, you can walk through any challenge.

A wife is not a reward for good behavior, and she is not the solution to every problem in a man’s life. But beside the woman he loves, a man has the chance to grow up. He learns responsibility. He learns to stay — not only when things are easy.

Your wife is your happiness and one of the greatest gifts God has entrusted to you. And when God gives a gift, He gives it with love. Cherish the one who has become part of your life forever.

Proverbs 18:22

The one who found a wife found his happiness and received a blessing from the Lord.

Genesis 2:18

Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for man to be alone. I will make a helper who is perfectly suited to him.”

James 1:17

Every good and perfect gift comes from above, from God our Father. He is the source of all goodness and light. God does not change. He does not turn from light to darkness. In him there is not even the slightest shadow of change.

If you need a miracle then you need God. But in order for God to perform this miracle in your life, He needs your faith. “Everything is possible for one who believes”. (Mark 9: 23)

Our faith grows and becomes stronger as a result of thanksgiving. When we thank God by faith for His future answers, our faith grows and becomes stronger. We do it even though right now we don’t see His answers with our physical eyes yet. The more we focus our spiritual sight on the invisible promises of God, the stronger our faith grows. Then through our faith, God makes impossible things possible. (Colossians 2: 7)

The opposite of thanksgiving is grumbling and discontent. If you are not careful about the thoughts you allow in your mind and what comes out of your mouth, your carnal, natural man will automatically focus on the problem and possible negative consequences. The more you allow yourself to grumble and show discontent, the weaker your faith will grow. In the end, you may completely defeat yourself with your own words and thoughts.

If you need a miracle then you need God. But in order for God to perform this miracle in your life, He needs your faith. From now on make a firm decision not to grumble any longer, not to get negative, not to discuss others, and not to destroy your faith. Right now start to thank God for the future victories He is definitely going to bring into your life. Stop focusing on the problem and start focusing on God who can give you victory over any problem in your life.

❤️ The First Love — A 40-Day Journey to Fall in Love with Each Other Again — Day 15. If you want to change the world, kiss your wife first

Maybe you dream of leaving your mark on history. Maybe you’re chasing success and recognition. And somewhere along the way, you begin to neglect your family. You tell yourself that now is not the time for tenderness.

First, you need to succeed in ministry. Build the business. Change the world… Your loved ones can wait. But no great idea will save a relationship if there is no love and warmth at home.

A woman can endure many things — financial struggles, exhaustion, uncertainty. You won’t lose your wife because you didn’t achieve every dream or because things didn’t go according to plan.

But if you keep postponing your woman “until later,” one day love may become just a memory. And instead of two close hearts, there will be two tired strangers who call themselves a family.
