Your child asks for help with something on the computer 💻, and you want to feel more confident. We're excited to announce that REDA is launching a new Digital Literacy program, and we're kicking things off with Family Matters Digital Literacy on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at the REDA Center! 🎉

This free workshop is a chance for families to learn together in Arabic and English and get a preview of what's coming. While this first session will introduce you to the program and offer some computer basics, it's really about launching something bigger for our community. Families will get a chance to learn more about the upcoming program and decide if it's the right fit for them. 💡

Together with Genesis Community Foundation, we're creating a welcoming space where parents and children can explore technology side by side. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Sometimes the best way to feel at home is to spend time with gentle souls who don't need words to understand you. Our community spent the day learning to care for horses, brushing their coats, cleaning their hooves, and finding peace in work that requires no translation. There's something powerful about the quiet confidence that comes from caring for an animal who trusts you.

I've only ever seen animals in a zoo before." 🐻🌲

One of the most talked-about moments from our recent REDA Family Camp in Lake Tahoe was when our group safely spotted a real bear in the wild!

For several of our participants, it was their very first time seeing wildlife roaming free outside of a zoo or a television screen. Experiences like this give our community a completely new perspective on nature and the outdoors.

Starting over in a new country isn't just about finding a job or learning English, it's about rebuilding everything at once. 🌍

At REDA, we don't ask you to choose between getting emergency assistance or helping your kids succeed in school, between learning to communicate or finding time to heal, because life doesn't work that way. Our five pillars (Social Services, Education, Youth Center, Mental Health, and Recreation) exist because your needs don't come one at a time, and neither does our support. ✨

We see you as a whole person, not a checklist.
