This role helps increase placement opportunities for animals in our care and strengthen connections with rescue organizations in our community.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable managing social media, creating engaging content, and maintaining a strong, consistent brand presence. This role also requires strong communication, professionalism, and the ability to remain confident in challenging situations.

💚 Good News…for a change! 👏🏼

📢 Apple Valley Animal Shelter LAWSUIT UPDATE – APRIL 1 HEARING

We wanted to share an update following the April 1, 2026 court hearing.

✅ The Court overruled the Apple Valley Town’s demurrer and rejected challenges to the petition and the Hayden Act, allowing the case to move forward.

This means the lawsuit will proceed on its core issues, including review under California law.

📌 What’s next:

The Apple Valley Town is expected to file a formal response within 30 days

This case was brought forward by independent rescues and individuals seeking judicial review of shelter practices and compliance with California law, including the Hayden Act.

We will continue to share updates as appropriate.
