Hollywood Park Neighborhood Association

Hollywood Park Neighborhood Association Welcome to Hollywood Park Neighborhood Association (HPNA) The HPNA boundaries include the Carleton Tract neighborhood.

Established in 1950, Hollywood Park was named “Best ’hood” by Sacramento News & Review in September 2008, and one of 10 “Great Neighborhoods” by Sacramento Magazine in September 2010. We are known for our affordable housing, great schools, and the quaint and diverse local businesses that border the neighborhood. The Hollywood Park Neighborhood Association (HPNA) has been working to improve our nei

ghborhood since 2001. We are active in monitoring local and county government projects and enjoy hosting annual neighborhood events such as the ice cream social and Fourth of July parade. We are bordered by Freeport Boulevard on the west, Fruitridge Road on the south, 24th Street on the east, and Sutterville Road on the north. If you live, work, or own a business or home in the neighborhood, please consider joining HPNA as an individual or business member. For additional information on how to join our growing organization, please visit our General Membership and Business Membership pages or e-mail [email protected]

Note: The HPNA page is passively moderated. Comments or posts containing personal attacks, defamatory statements, threats, harassment, racism, sexism, homophobia or other forms of hate-speech, or contributions that could be interpreted as such may be removed. We reserve the right to redirect or curtail conversations which are repetitive in nature or descend into lengthy exchanges of angry, hostile or abusive messages. Visitor posts: Posts regarding nonprofit, government, or community events, HPNA business, and HPNA business members are generally approved within 72 hours. Visitor posts of items for sale, requests for recommendations, direct messages or comments to HPNA members or directors, posts inquiring about police activity, non-emergency police reports and lost animals should be re-directed to the appropriate organization or posted to other community message boards such as Craigslist, Nextdoor, or other Hollywood Park Facebook groups.

July 4 Hollywood Park Parade
Although the HPNA doesn’t sponsor the parade, we are sponsoring the pre-party for decorating, refreshments, and music. We will meet at the front of St. Robert School (2251 Irvin Way) at 9 a.m. for decorating our bikes and meeting our neighbors, and then will walk/bike/run/drive along the parade route, starting at 9:30 a.m. Mason, the local antique fire truck, will be at the front of the parade; for safety, please be sure that all bikers stay behind Mason!

If you’d like to drive your antique/vintage car in the parade, please just come on out that morning. For safety, all cars will be at the back of the parade. Please see the attached parade route for your reference.

Please join the HPNA Board for our June meeting: this coming Wednesday, 6/10 at 6:30 p.m. on Zoom.
