A letter to African/Black Men.
Since the beginning of time there has always been good and great Black Men who simply showed up.
Black Men who stood in the gaps serving as leaders, teachers and light bearers, warriors and peace keepers, or as examples and pillars --- be it in their families, in community or in the lives of individuals; Black Men who made a difference, or were that difference.
Ordinary everyday Men; Honest and hard working; Men of integrity, Men of good character, Men of Honor.
These Men, who are still born today - come from a lineage of esteemed and Noble Ancestors who knew the true meaning of selflessness.
They are our forefathers, they are our fathers, our brothers, our uncles and sons, they are you.
The world will always need you.
There is no substitute for strong, loving, intelligent, nurturing Black Men.
The highest laws of nature suggest that the purpose and calling on all life is that of service. May you carry on the traditions of your Ancestors and serve as a reminder of God.
The key to our liberation lies in our unity and love Is the main ingredient.
The sooner we begin to recognize ourselves in one another, the sooner the-better-off we and the world will be.
Protect our children;
Protect our women.
Protect our elders.
Protect one another.
Black Men we are the Vanguard.
We are in good hands (The Best Hands); our own. Remember, the man who replicates the best of himself lives forever.
May you never be forgotten.
Peace King(s)
