For this week’s Alumni Spotlight, our last internship program alumnus we would like to highlight is Byron Briones from our internship Class of 2020!

"The internship gave me an enlightening crash course from seasoned staffers on how the state legislature worked while at the same time providing close mentorship. It gave me a support network that still helps me navigate the Capitol today. Not only did the internship reignite my passion for policy, but it allowed me to get into my dream post-graduate program, the Assembly Fellowship. The lessons I learned in APICA are constantly reinforced and retaught in my fellowship and made the transition to working in the capitol much easier." - Byron Briones, Class of 2020

If you or someone you know is interested in applying for our program, check out our website apicasac.org/internship for more information.

Applications are due on February 27th!
