Founded in 2015 by Gina Warren, Pharm.D., and Marilyn Woods, Neighborhood Wellness Foundation is a grassroots organization that
works with the community of Del Paso Heights and surrounding areas to disrupt intergenerational trauma and poverty. Built on a foundation of trust and understanding, our team addresses chronic toxic stress, legacies of incarceration, poverty, violence, drug addiction, and

low educational attainment to improve lives and build resilience. Our programs and services focus on addressing the root cause of our disparities and finding pathways to improve and grow.

Heads up, community! Exciting changes are coming to Medi-Cal starting January 1, 2027. Some adults aged 19–64 will need to work, train, volunteer, or attend school for 80 hours a month, with renewals every six months. Exemptions apply for parents of young kids, pregnant individuals, and those with disabilities. Keep an eye out for mail notifications soon.

Join our community workshop to learn more about these updates and other important issues impacting us. Big thanks to Kim, Alberto, Anglin, Sarah, and Steve for their support! Let's disrupt intergenerational trauma and poverty together. 🌟
