Welcome to the Youth Leadership Coalition!

We meet every Tuesday, from 4:30-6PM at the George Simm community center in South Sacramento.
Stipends($$$) are available for youth who are participate regularly and go a step further beyond volunteer work. (ie creating fliers, contacting possible sponsors, ect.)


Learn and practice how to:
*Plan events (art walks, talent shows, socials, etc.)
*Facilitate Creative Meetings
*Become an advocate for Change
*Search for jobs & be successful

***Those youth who carpool other youth to meetings are eligible for monthly gas reimbursements.

***ALSO! Each month the YLC will raffle off a special prize for the youth who brings new members to the meetings! The prizes may include- movie tickets, gift certificates, goodie bags, etc.

Join the South Sac Coalition tonigh for our annual National Mentoring Month Celebration & Award Ceremony. It will be held today from 4:30-6:30 at the Charles A. Jones Skill Center (5451 Lemon Hill Ave.).
This ceremon is dedicated in memory of Michelle Murigi from West Campus High School, who recently, tragically passed away. Today is her 17th birthday.

The YLC Holiday Homeless Feed will be Sun, Dec 18th from 1-4PM... If you would like to get involved let us know ASAP... We will be preparing and passing out food to 100 homeless people in South Sac!
