Hello,
The "Vu Nguyen Memorial Scholarship Foundation" fireworks stand will be back in full swing at our usual spot in Elk Grove and we open today at 12 noon (8850 Sheldon Rd. Elk Grove, next to Dutch Bros.) We are hosting our annual fireworks fundraiser (June 28th-July 4th 10am-8pm). The Foundation has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships to underprivileged kids who have gone on to do great things. If you plan on buying fireworks, please visit our stand or just come by and say hi. Many of you were friends with Vu and know about the ultimate sacrifice that he made. We honor him with this Foundation. Thank you!

Last night California State University of Sacramento honored our beloved Vu with the "Distinguished Service Award". It is given to Sac State Alumni who exemplify service for their fellow man/woman and embody the ideals of hard work, honor, respect, and love for others. Vu exemplified these ideals everyday. We will continue to honor him and his legacy. Congratulations Vu.

Just when we all thought it was a going to be a slow day because of the high temperatures, this family came out and bought the biggest set of fireworks we sell. This made our day. Thank you!
And the foundation would also like to thank and acknowledge Dr. Thang Nguyen (Vu's brother) and for his very gracious donation. It was so very much appreciated.
