Last week, a packed crowd gathered at Bear Vineyards to celebrate the launch of Market Memories Cookbook by Ann Evans and Georgeanne Brennan.

Created in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Davis Farmers Market, this beautiful cookbook is more than a collection of seasonal recipes. Featuring Ann Evans' charming line illustrations and Georgeanne Brennan's watercolor artwork, it highlights the incredible produce found at the Farmers Market while sharing the memories, people, and traditions that have made it such a beloved community institution.

A true treasure for Davis, Yolo County, and the Greater Sacramento region, Market Memories Cookbook reminds us that food is about so much more than what we eat—it's about the connections we build around the table and at the market.

What a beautiful evening yesterday with Les Dames d'Escoffier Sacramento Chapter at El Milagro Centre.

A huge thank you to Dame Liz for opening the doors to this amazing space and treating us to such delicious bites. The evening was not only fun and flavorful, but incredibly entertaining and educational. We learned so much from Dame Tayler about sake, yeast, and the different regions of Japan.

Dame Carrie also guided us through a fascinating sensory experiment, exploring how our sense of taste can actually change depending on the music we listen to while drinking wine. Such a fun and eye-opening experience!

Great conversations, amazing people, delicious food and drinks, and a night full of learning. Thank you to everyone who joined us! 🍶🍷🎶

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible women of Les Dames d'Escoffier Sacramento.

Today we celebrate the amazing mothers within our chapter who somehow do it all… leading businesses, mentoring others, supporting our community, creating incredible food and experiences, all while showing up with love and strength for their families every single day.

Being part of this organization takes passion and dedication, and we are constantly inspired by the women who balance motherhood, careers, creativity, and community with so much grace.
