Upon This Rock Ministries Founders: Jesse & Lydia Galindo. We build churches/houses of worship in Central America

www.utrmglobal.com When we say build, we mean it literally.

Our team of volunteers and staff take the bare ground and dig trenches, pour a cement foundation, lay block walls with rebar and basic electrical wiring, install lighting and outlets, install windows, doors and a laminate/metal roof. When its all said and done, usually 6 to 10 days later - I know its crazy fast - we have a celebration service where we try our very best to bless the community with clothing/basic living supplies and when possible some financial support.

There are moments when God places something in front of you that is bigger than you ever imagined.

For our ministry, this is one of those moments.

This is The Embassy—an International Discipleship & Missions Center in Zacapa, Guatemala.

Why “The Embassy”?

Because an embassy represents one nation living inside another. We believe this place will represent the Kingdom of God, a strategic place where believers from around the world gather to be equipped, challenged, and sent back into the nations with greater purpose.

For more than 20 years, God has allowed Upon This Rock Ministries to build churches, strengthen pastors, and serve communities throughout Central America. We have always believed He was preparing us for something even greater.

The Embassy will become a place where disciples are made, missionaries are trained, churches are strengthened, and lives are transformed before being sent back into the harvest field.

This isn’t simply about acquiring property.

It’s about establishing a place that exists to advance the Kingdom of God for generations to come.

This is only the beginning.

Yesterday, we celebrated the completion of Project 30, and our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. 🙌

Every time we gather to dedicate a new church, we’re reminded of God’s faithfulness. Seeing this building filled with worship, prayer, and hope leaves us in awe every single time.

Thank you to everyone who prayed, served, gave, and made this possible. We can’t wait to see all that God will do through this church for years to come! 🤍
