A big surprise in Sacramento—a blooming cymbidium in July. Even with 100 degree heat!!
It’s a NoID that last bloomed in Feb. 2025. Some buds shriveled up and died before I moved it to a shadier spot.

Any ideas on what plant this could be??

LUNCH AVAILABLE - ORDER BY JULY 23

CSNJC Speakers Day, at the Charmichael Elk’s Lodge, is fast approaching on Saturday, August 1. Tickets are still available and can be held will call at the door for $10 if you’d like to join us.
If you’re not added to the will call list, the entry cost will be $30.

We are pleased to offer a box lunch prepared by the Elks Lodge for $20.

Lunch includes:

• Sandwich — turkey or ham
• Chips
• Fruit
• Cookie
• Soda or water

To put a ticket in will call for $10 and/or to order lunch
call Denise Lucero at 707-501-0195 by end of day Thursday, July 23
with your choice of turkey or ham.

Please note: Outside food cannot be brought into the venue. However, there are several fast-food restaurants nearby if you prefer to make other lunch arrangements.
