We'd like to recognize 's own Morgan Wonderly for her service on the National Pork Board Board of Directors.

Throughout her term Morgan has been a strong advocate for producers, helping ensure California had a seat at the table while creating valuable connections and opportunities for our industry and youth. She has consistently recognized and championed the value The Pork Checkoff brings to us and other small-production states, helping producers access resources, programs, and opportunities that strengthen our industry.

We appreciate her leadership and look forward to her continued involvement within our association!

RFID Reader Funding Still Available ‼️​

Funding is still available to support RFID adoption across the swine industry through a USDA APHIS Veterinary Services program administered by NPB. Cull sow market stations, cull sow processing facilities and swine exhibition sites with a current Premises Identification Number (PIN) remain eligible to receive RFID tag reader equipment. ​

Available equipment includes:​
​
🔺 Up to 5 RFID panel readers per site (for qualified market and processing operations)*
🔺 Up to 4 handheld RFID readers per site​

🗓️ Funding deadline is September 14, 2026
