We are excited to bring to the stage the talents and abilities of our young people performing annually. The young people in our community stand at a crossroad in their lives, confronted with critical decisions that will affect their future and ours. Whether its painting, sculpture, band, or theater, the arts provides students with an excellent opportunity to increase their academic success and

develop important skills. The inclusion of arts and education in a young person’s life, can directly contribute to the acquisition of job skills such as problem solving, creative thinking, and communication. The South Sacramento Youth and Performing Arts Gala serve as a means to unite members of the arts community to showcase the wonderful talent and diversity that makes Sacramento a special place to live.
