🏗️California’s Big City Mayors are all in on Prop. 1 🏘️🏢

This bipartisan coalition stands together in support of a YES vote this Nov., to ensure $11.25B goes to affordable housing & homeownership programs that help working families, seniors, veterans, first-time homebuyers, and people experiencing homelessness.

Cities can’t solve the housing crisis alone. Prop. 1 would help build more homes & strengthen local housing solutions statewide.

🌟Mayors: Mayor Barbara Lee, Mayor Daniel Lurie, Mayor Matt Mahan, Mayor Jerry Dyer, Mayor Rex Richardson, Mayor Todd Gloria, Mayor Ashleigh Aitken, Mayor Kevin McCarty, Mayor Larry Agran

🌟Organizations: Sacramento Housing Alliance, California Housing Partnership, California Housing Consortium

Homeownership is slipping out of reach for millions of Californians.

Prop 1 is built for workers, veterans, seniors, first-time homebuyers and all Californians that are getting priced out of the California Dream.

California's housing crisis demands action now.

Vote YES on Prop 1 this November. Because those who build homes should be able to afford one too.

The Veterans and Affordable Housing Bond, Prop 1, would help the UC system address the lack of housing access their students face. ⬇️

With the number of students enrolled in the UC and CSU systems significantly higher than the number of available beds, there is a critical housing shortage at higher education institutions across the state. According to a 2025 report by the state auditor, more than half of surveyed students across the CSU, UC and California Community Colleges systems have experienced housing insecurity.
