Hello Friends,
This has been a year of changes, and among those changes is this - Yoga Across America (YAA) is now the Baptiste Foundation!
YAA was born out of my trainings with Baron Baptiste and the Baptiste Yoga community, so this is a natural transition. I came out of each training wanting to give, serve and connect with all walks of life. I wanted to share this practice with everyone, everywhere!

These trainings opened my heart and transformed my life. I committed to growth on this journey. And this year, for me, growth has meant letting go. Letting go and being open to greater possibilities in all areas of my life. Greater love, greater connection, and living an authentic life which would reveal the truth within.

I've learned a lot along the way. I'm still learning. But what I have learned is that together we are stronger. Together, we can create, discover and manifest the unimaginable. It is a heart practice and I am blessed to be on this journey. It's all love.

Thank you to Baron and the Baptiste community, for everything. Special thanks to my dear friend and soul sister, Melissa Hayden Leach. She reminded me of the power that comes from being there for others. I love you dear friend.
Love & Light,
Gina Garcia

Yoga Across America in action – YAA teacher Karen Wilkinson led a class of all veterans at Sacramento State University yesterday, who are in a writing intensive class that incorporates components of leisure. Most students were first-timers, and found the practice to be more challenging than expected. They all had open minds and willing hearts

So much gratitude and love, words can not express how thankful we are! lululemon athletica Sacramento Arden Fair donated A LOT of gently loved clothing to Yoga Across America for its outreach programs, some of which is going to the lovely women at St. John's Program for Real Change (here in Sacramento).

YAA teacher and beautiful soul Alex Meek (bottom left) shares her teachings there twice a week, continually building and deepening connections.

YAA loves its teachers, near and far! Today we're highlighting the efforts of YAA teacher Jodie Dupuy, who teaches to employees of the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Here's what she has to say about her experience:

"I love teaching with Yoga Across America at the VA Hospital because I am able to serve people that are constantly serving others. The doctors and nurses that attend my classes work in a demanding field where they are always taking care of their patients. Yoga class gives them the opportunity to slow down, quiet their minds and nurture themselves."
