That’s a wrap 2025 Connections CPRS Conference & Expo. Sacramento- you are one amazing host. Amplifying the Role of Parks and Park & Recreation Professionals:
Superintendent of Seattle Parks and Recreation AP Diaz will dive into a lively discussion about the importance and power of parks and why now, more than ever, park professionals must amplify the narrative that Parks and Recreation are critical infrastructure to the health and wellness of cities and communities. He will equip park professionals with tools to position themselves and their agencies for long-term relevance and sustainability. Join us to connect and advocate for the future of parks!

Anthony-Paul (AP) Diaz, Esq.
AP Diaz is the Superintendent of Seattle Parks and Recreation, a member of Mayor Bruce Harrell’s Cabinet, and has over 27 years of professional experience. He previously served as the Executive Officer & General Counsel for the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, helping lead many high-profile matters, including transformation, restoration, and the management model for the iconic Greek Theatre and preparation and development of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games’ PlayLA Youth Sports legacy initiative. AP is an active, licensed lawyer with the State Bar of California with pending application for the Washington State Bar. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Seattle University Law School.

Come enjoy some great food and local craft beers while networking with the Admin Section. The Admin Section threw the Social event of the conference in Palm Springs and this year we are sure to follow up at a central location and open to all CPRS Conference Attendees.
