On June 16, District Attorneys Erik Nasarenko (Ventura County), John Savrnoch (Santa Barbara County), and Dan Dow (San Luis Obispo) joined MADD California at Cal Poly for the 2026 Tri-Counties Law Enforcement and Prosecutor Recognition Awards Ceremony. Each year, MADD honors officers, first responders, prosecutors, probation officers, and volunteers whose work helps save lives and keep our roads safer.

Every impaired driver removed from the road represents a potential life saved!

District Attorney offices fight every day to protect consumers in both civil and criminal matters.

This week, CDAA proudly hosted the 2026 Consumer Protection Prosecutors Conference in Pasadena. CDAA President and San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Dan Dow, along with Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman and CDAA CEO Greg Totten, welcomed 176 consumer prosecutors, investigators, and paralegals from across California.

We were also honored to welcome Senator Tom Umberg, who joined us on Wednesday for a presentation.
