Sacramento Valley Coin Club Serving the greater Sacramento area since 1957. Membership:

Annual membership begins January 1 and ends December 31.

The purpose of the Sacramento Valley Coin Club:

* To encourage coin collecting at both the novice and experienced level.
* To promote and assist in educational activities.
* To spread interest in collecting.
* To have fun and make new friends. As a member you may:

* Win valuable prizes from the Door Prize Drawings, Membership Prize Drawings, and Raffle Prize Drawings. At least 12 prizes are given away at each meeting!
* Receive our award-winning newsletter, offering up-to-date information on SVCC events and activities along with articles covering the gamut from Ancient Roman Coins to Susan B. Anthony Dollars.
* Enjoy informative educational programs that include lectures, slide shows, and demonstrations to help both the beginner and the serious collector become more knowledgeable about the hobby.
* Make new friends with other members of the Club who share the same interest in collecting coins as you do. Dues are $10 annually with a $1 initiation fee. Junior memberships are available for those 17 years of age and younger with an annual fee of $5. Lifetime memberships are available for $100. New member candidates are voted upon for membership at the candidates second meeting. Dues are pro-rated for members joining after January 1. Members may also submit coins into the SVCC Auction held at every meeting. Good deals, good fun, and spirited bidding are guaranteed on the 30-60 lots auctioned at every meeting.

· Show and Tell. This month’s theme is “Architecture." Bring your architecture related numismatics to share with the group. We may have Round 3 of Other Hobby Night since we had continued technical difficulties with the projector.
· Regular auction and raffle. This week’s meeting will feature our regular auction, in which members are invited to submit up to five numismatic items, like coins, banknotes, tokens, books or supplies, for a live auction during the second half of the meeting. We will also have a raffle, with the top prize made of gold!
· Opportunity to purchase "Great Coin Giveaway" ticket books before the club show on September 24 -26, 2026. And bonus tickets at half price!

· Tonight’s main event will be an Educational Talk (part 2) about members' other hobbies. Recall the projector was not functioning for the first Other Hobby Night and a few folks needed the projector and opted to defer to a future meeting. This is that meeting. Also, if you did not originally sign up for presenting your other hobby, as time permits, there will be an opportunity for others to present as well. If you'd like to briefly talk about your other hobbies, please come prepared.
· Tonight’s meeting will also include our regular auction of items submitted by members, as well as regular club raffle.
· Treasurer will happily accept your payments for "The Great Coin Giveaway" coordinated in conjunction with our September Fall coin show.
· You will also have an opportunity to sign up to volunteer to help with the show if there are open volunteer spaces.

· Also we will have door prizes and the regular club raffle at the end of the meeting.

· Raffle. We will also have a raffle, with the top prize made of gold. So bring some extra money to buy raffle tickets or bid on some auction items, and you may take home some great new pieces for your collection.
