The LHI [League of Heroes Inspired] is an IRS-Certified 501(c)3 non-profit organization inspiring children to access their Hero Within! We inspire mostly those dealing with horrific Life challenges to be empowered with insight that they are heroic for taking on those challenges, and that they are capable, strong, and respected for their heroism.

Our Story

The LHI [League of Heroes Inspired] is a Sacramento, CA-based, Volunteer-driven organization providing children with Therapeutic Cosplay(c) services to introduce their Inner Selves to their innate Hero Within. We provide children with the world’s only Therapeutic Cosplay(c) services, developed by Psychotherapist Mitch Darnell to empower children who’ve experienced horrific childhood traumas. We provide specific, trained interactions with the children to empower their Self-Efficacy. Empowerment runs from psychological “Planting Seeds” to “Direct Impact” results.

This is an Evidence-Based practice that alters a child’s core Self, particularly their Ego, empowering them with a foundation of Self-Efficacy.

Children visited by LHI Heroes and Princesses feel validated, respected and encouraged. We provide these services for children serviced by any agency, hospital or similar entity that wishes to take advantage of our free services.
