The Youth Action Corp, started by Councilmember Ashby, is a group of high school to college-aged people who are interested in taking an active role in their community. YAC meets and discusses various issues around the City of Sacramento. This committee gives a voice to a demographic that is often times ignored. YAC also hosts various events throughout the year to raise awareness about important issues that we all face.
