“We are excited to celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s BikeFit graduates,” said Senior Director of Philanthropy Alan Anderson. “They are our 10th anniversary class, joining more than 200 who have graduated before them. Some of our first graduates are in their mid-20’s now and still cycling. Each graduate is a testament to the life-changing impact individual donors to this program make to our patients, their families and their communities. The impact of their giving is lifelong.” 💝

It's back to school season, and Shriners Children’s reminds parents and caregivers not to skip routine screenings. “The best outcomes happen when scoliosis is identified early,” says Amer Samdani, M.D., neurosurgeon and chief of staff at Shriners Children’s Philadelphia.

BikeFit’s 10th year was the best yet! 🙌
This summer, 20 patients at Shriners Children’s Northern California learned to ride their very
own custom adaptive bikes- many for the very first time! 🚲 💨
Each were equipped with special handlebars, pedal straps, and safety features to help each kid ride with confidence. These last 6 weeks of hard work and education were made entirely possible by our amazing donors and volunteers! 💝
Thank you to Jamie and Shannon Hart with the Jerome H. Hart and Wanda S. Hart Fund, Ben Ali Shriners, AMBUS and Rifton for helping us make this dream a reality!

Each summer, campers between ages 7-17 from across the western United States gather at Camp Winning Hands, an inclusive and empowering camp designed for children with congenital hand and upper limb differences. 🙌🦾
We proudly partner with UCSF Benioff Children’s to organize this unique camp, hosted by the generous Taylor Family Foundation. Kids at Camp Winning Hands are empowered by the experience of camping in an environment where they feel protected and encouraged. 🏕️
