Sacramento District Dental Society & Foundation It is the mission of SDDS to be the recognized source for serving its members. The Smiles for Kids project is a project of the Foundation.

Sacramento District Dental Society (SDDS) is the association of dental professionals in the capital city of Sacramento, and serves Amador, El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento and Yolo Counties. SDDS is a component of the American Dental Association (ADA) and California Dental Association (CDA). The Foundation was established in 1969 and is the 501(c)3 not-for-profit charity arm of the Dental Society. Th

e Foundation provides dental services to those who otherwise would not be able to afford it, focusing especially on children in the communities of Amador, El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo counties. The Foundation offers several sub-committees geared for those who enjoy meeting new people and assisting with fundraising projects and public relations for the Foundation. The funds raised will be used to aid and promote the oral and general health of the public through all types of education, service and research in the fields of preventative and curative dentistry, for charitable, scientific and/or educational purposes.
