Someone who was engaged in torturing other human beings should not be the head of an Intelligence agency. There is no intelligence involved in torture, and it is illegal, both at the spiritual level and the practical human level. There are clear laws nationally and internationally that make torture illegal. We ignore those laws at our own risk.

Trump has nominated Bush-era torturer Gina Haspel as director of the CIA. Sign the petition to tell the Senate to block and resist her confirmation.

Same place and location. This is the 3rd and final Mentee Meeting. After this meeting, we will be promoted from Mentees to Mentors of Peace. Hope everyone can make it. And feel free to bring a friend along so they can share the experience and be part of the second session to be on the road to becoming Mentors of Peace as well.

Okay Pacers for Peace, on Tuesday, December 9, 2012, there will be a dinner for the new Congressman, Allen Warren. we need students to volunteer to help setup, serve food, and possibly take down. Iit will end late, hopefully before 10:00 or so. Dress professional. Peace shirt is fine and button. I will be giving out the Parent Release forms on Monday to the students who wish to go. I need volunteers ASAP. Please make a commitment and help out.

Alright Peace people! Tomorrow, October 19th, 2012 is the Japan Night. Those who will be attending will need to wear black bottoms and a white top. If you have your peace shirt, wear that if you wish. The event will be from 6:00pm-10:00pm. Transportation is provided. We will meet at the main campus flag pole before 3:00pm and get rides to Elks Lodge at 6466 Riverside Blvd before 4:00pm to help set up, eat some food, and have some time to relax. I want some volunteers to Sing the I Am Peace Song with me for the guests please.
