🩸 It’s Walk Wednesday! Starting today, we’re celebrating one of our biggest events of the year — the Unite Walk & Vampire Run on October 18!

Every step, donation, and shared story supports the work of the Central California Bleeding Disorders Foundation. This fall, we walk and run for families who depend on education, advocacy, and support — and for the stories that remind us why this mission matters.

đź’™ Our focus:

· Meaningful fundraising — supporting expanded programs, emergency assistance, and community education.
· Stories of need — sharing the strength, resilience, and lived experiences of people with bleeding disorders.
· Event energy — from team building and costumes to crossing the finish line together.

✨ Whether you walk, run, or cheer from the sidelines, your support helps create a stronger, more connected community.

Unite Walk team registration opens July 22. Let’s make October 18 unforgettable!

🌸 Women Connected: Community, Conversation & Sourdough

We had the most wonderful morning with our CCBDF community at our Women Connected event! From meaningful conversations to hands‑on sourdough fun, this gathering brought women together to learn, share, and build connections that strengthen our entire bleeding disorders community.

A huge thank‑you to Genentech for sponsoring this event and supporting programs that empower and uplift the women in our community. 💗

🌍 Today, April 17, we honor World Hemophilia Day.

At the Central California Bleeding Disorders Foundation, we stand with individuals and families affected by hemophilia and all bleeding disorders. This day is more than a moment on the calendar—it’s a reminder of the strength, resilience, and advocacy that define our community. 💙 This year’s theme emphasizes the importance of access, equity, and connection.
Too many people around the world still face barriers to diagnosis, treatment, and support. Together, we can change that.

✨ Whether you’re living with a bleeding disorder, caring for someone who is, or simply standing in solidarity, your voice matters.
Join us in raising awareness, supporting education, and empowering our community to thrive.

🔗 Let’s continue working toward a future where everyone—everywhere—has the care they deserve.
