Hey Fam! If you or someone you know needs housing assistance, our friends over at the Southgate Library on 66th Avenue provide resources every week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-12pm. Trained housing and resource navigators are there to guide those in need, answer questions, and connect people to vital resources. Sacramento Public Library

Hey Fam! Did you know? California recently signed a bill called "The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act," and lawmakers are saying how much it could impact cities across the state. The bill will allow organizations like the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency more resources and tools to renovate public housing, prepare sites for construction, and reduce federal delays. One local project, Mirasol Village, is proof of what future housing can look like when federal, state, county, and private investment come together to accomplish more affordable housing for Californians. Over the past 7 weeks, we have held trainings to prepare community members for long-term stewardship for the Morrison Creek Revitalization Project and other community improvements in the AGENA and Lemon Hill neighborhoods. Last night, our Community Action Training wrapped up with a site visit to Morrison Creek, certificates and a cool dessert (thank you, Tonie!)
