Building a stronger water future for Bloomington!

West Valley Water District recently broke ground on the Bloomington Phase 3B Water Infrastructure Improvement Project, the final phase of a long-term effort to modernize aging infrastructure and strengthen water service for the community.

Supported in part by $2 million in federal funding secured with the support of Congresswoman Norma Torres, the project will upgrade aging pipelines and fire hydrants, improve system reliability and fire flow capabilities, and enhance public safety.

Congratulations to West Valley Water District and its partners on this important investment in reliable, resilient infrastructure for generations to come!

Four years running!

Rowland Water District has once again been recognized by the National Safety Council, earning the 2026 Occupational Excellence Achievement Award for the fourth consecutive year!

This national recognition reflects the commitment our team brings to safety every day, whether working in public streets, maintaining critical infrastructure, or supporting operations in the office. Through ongoing training, job briefings, equipment inspections, emergency preparedness and a shared responsibility for one another, safety remains a District-wide priority.

Most importantly, a strong safety culture helps protect our employees while keeping experienced staff on the job, projects on schedule and resources working efficiently for our customers.

Congratulations to the entire RWD team on another year of outstanding achievement! 👏💧
