A couple weeks ago, our Founder and Executive Director, Shannon, had the opportunity to speak at the Spring Networking Event about what she has learned from over two years of facilitating a peer grief support group!

She also had the pleasure of hearing from and meeting Reina Chan of the , a deeply important and inspiring nonprofit offering grief support to families in the Sacramento area.

Thank you for helping spread awareness about the many organizations in our area offering support during the most difficult times in people’s lives!

It’s okay to spend a day off of social media. It’s okay to not have any specific plan to honor your mom. It’s okay to just let the world spin around you for one day and resume again the next day.

Looking for a space to connect with young adults navigating similar grief? Our peer support groups offer an opportunity to join a community built by and for people navigating parental illness and loss early in life.

Anyone age 18-39 is welcome to join. Meetings are monthly and virtual. In-person activities also offered throughout the year in Oregon and Northern California, with more locations coming!
