💚 Your voice. Your vote. Your seat at the table!

Did you know Girl Scouts can serve on the GSHCC Board of Directors and have the same voting rights as adult Board members?

We're looking for high school Girl Scouts who are ready to take their leadership skills to the next level, share their perspectives, and help shape the future of Girl Scouting in our council! As a Girl Board Member, you'll gain real-world leadership experience, participate in important decisions, and make sure girls' voices are heard.

🌟 Ready to take your seat at the table?

We're incredibly proud of our very own Girl Scout, Natalie! 💚 What began as her Silver Award project led to AB 1653, a new California law focused on heat illness education for students. Her dedication and leadership are making a difference statewide! Join us in celebrating Natalie's incredible accomplishment! 👏

She walked into the California State Assembly as a Girl Scout and walked out having moved a bill forward with unanimous support!
Natalie testified with courage and total confidence, all for a bill that started as her Silver Award project.

AB1653, also known as Natalie’s Heat Illness Education for Students bill, passed committee with zero opposition in May and was later signed into law in July 2026.

What she hoped her school district would adopt is now protecting students across California. That’s the power of a girl who leads!
