When the vision for CLASSY began in 2007, there was no way to know what was ahead for the students, their families, or everyone connected to this work. In the beginning, it was filled with fun, excitement, and optimism, but the journey would also bring lessons, losses, rejection, resistance, sacrifice, and endurance.
Over the past 19 years, CLASSY students have broken generational barriers, discovered their greatness, and continued making a difference despite the challenges before them. Cancer survivors have also shown incredible courage while bravely beating the odds.
People often see the smiles, success, and positivity, but rarely the tears, pain, trials, and sacrifices that come with advocating for students. This journey has faced resistance both outside and within the culture, but the focus remains on the students.
To every student making a difference: no weapon formed against you will prosper. Opposition will not define your future. Regardless of the challenges, The future is yours, and it is bright, never dim your light☀️
