Sacramento has been busy with trees! The Tree Foundation joined volunteers and community members at three events this week:

The Foundation hosted a community planting event that added 17 new trees to Golden Empire Elementary School! Folsom celebrated their 20th Tree City anniversary, and we brought more trees to plant. We tabled with other community organizations at the Clean Air Day Fair in Oak Park and gave out native shrubs to our neighbors.

Keep an eye out for upcoming events as we head into Sacramento's planting season!

On the eve of Big Day of Giving, we want to celebrate the partnerships that make space for nature for all.

The Healing Ways Garden at Sacramento Native American Health Center is the perfect example of bringing nature, wellness + people together.

We are grateful for our partnership, Sacramento Native American Health Center, Inc.

Last week we celebrated many of our Tree Heroes who help make Sacramento the City of Trees.

Every tree planted, every hour volunteered, every gift given- it all adds up to something bigger than one person.

Our impact grows because people choose to show up and know their actions matter.

Thank you to all our Tree Heroes. We could not do our work without each of you.
