🚧 Something Powerful Is Taking Shape...

For years, we've celebrated the lives that have been changed through opportunity.

We've watched people discover confidence, build careers, provide for their families, and create brighter futures.

But over the past several months, we've been asking ourselves one important question...

But that's not really what we do.

Grads and Community, we have a rare opportunity to create massive jobs in Sacramento. TODAY at City Council a vote will take place and we need you there to show strength in numbers!

In short, Natomas is planning a Innovation District. This would mean a Hospital and many other things on the old Sleep Train Arena property. The vote concerns an EIFD (Enhanced Infrastructure Finance District). Basically it allows some taxpayer dollars toward building this district. This will create massive construction jobs for apprentices and more! Also, once the hospital is built, PWT is primed to train and help fill ongoing clinical roles there too.

We don't ask for much. We're out here pushing for opportunity for you and your future PWT cousins. Join us today and show the City Council why this vote matters so much for people just like you!

For anyone willing to speak to the Council, we have a slight change in messaging from what was sent on Friday. Instead, the focus will be on the importance of a Yes vote for the EIFD, not so much focused on PWT. We want the council to know the community wants this vote to pass. PWT will automatically be included with a yes vote. We will provide more details once you arrive.

If you choose NOT to speak, that's ok, you're still important! We need you to fill the chambers and represent with your presence!

Time: starts at 5 PM, however, we need you there early to prepare. Please arrive at 4PM. Unfortunately, we can't control where this item is placed on the agenda, so please be flexible and prepared to stay as long as you can.

What is this EIFD?
The Innovation Park/CNU hospital EIFD is a large mixed-use development on the former Arco Arena/Sleep Train Arena site, including a planned state-of-the-art hospital and medical campus, housing, retail, office, education, and other uses. The project plans also include a local-hire requirement and a commitment that 20% of estimated EIFD-generated funds would support affordable housing around Innovation Park.
